Rabbit 101 Part 1

These're some of the popular breeds of rabbit that most people keep as a pet, and some of them are quite expensive.

 

English angora has a characteristic of long wooly hair of the angora family. Since the angora has a dense coat, this breed needs daily grooming.

Although the Flemish Giants are massive and consider the largest breed of rabbits, they’re very popular breed to show and own as pets

 

The Holland lop is the smallest breed in the lop family. The breed was developed in Holland in the 1960s.

 

The Lionhead rabbit is one of the newest breeds of domesticated rabbits. It has a furred body, but Angora-like wool surrounding the face, reminiscent of the mane of a male lion, hence the name.

Jersey wooly has a wool less dense compare to angora. However, their wool also do need brushing daily  just like angora family to reduce matting and hair knots.
